All Star Workouts

UpdatedWednesday December 9, 2020 byJay LeMay.

Thank you to all who participate in our 2020 Nashua Cal Ripken baseball season. While some reached the pinnacle of success in their league and won a Championship, most of us did not.
In the words of Babe Ruth "Yesterday's home runs don't win today's games". In order words, getting better today will help you improve your performance tomorrow. Do not rest on your success of yesterday because it will not help you play better today.
So, while most of our baseball playing has ended, our thoughts turn to next season and training and preparing to play next year.
There are several new winter works sponsored by the Nor'Easters at the New Balance Training center (at the old AB Facility at 3 Progress Avenue in Nashua) to do just that.
The first item is dubbed "All Star Workouts" and offers three different nights of training each from 6-7pm once a week for 6 weeks total starting the week of December 28th:
Monday - Hitting 6pm-7pm
Tuesday - Pitching 5pm-6pm/ Hitting 6pm-7pm
Wednesday - Pitching 6pm-7pm
You can sign up for one or two sessions

The second item is called Own The Diamond that runs every Sunday from January 3rd through January 24th. This will focus on Infield, Outfield, Footwork, Agility, Baserunning, and Defense

The third item available is for the Hurricanes Softball program that covers all offensive and defensive skills. The offensive skills program runs every Monday from January 4th through January 25th from 7-8pm and is for players 10 and older. The defensive skills program will be offered every Saturday morning from 9-10am from January 9th through January 30th. This is for players 13 and older. Please see hurricanes.net for more information.

The final clinic available is for all catchers looking to improve their skills and will run every Saturday from January 2nd through January 30th. Players 12 and under will be from 9am-10am and players 13 and over will be from 10am-11am.

Please see the flyers attached below for the information on each clinic available.
