Call to Order 7:05pm by Derek
I. Derek spoke about the election process for the 2018 Board of Directors in October and announced September 25th is the deadline to submit names for Board positions.
II. Field and City Update
A .Dube and Lincoln Park are ready for the Fall Ball season.
B. Drescher will need the infield edged.
C. Will need to look into replacing the dugout roofs for Murray.
A. Same number of teams as 2016 fall season. An additional player or two per team roster.
A.Budget is in good shape.
B.All bills are paid except for the Fall Ball Umpires fees.
V. Media and communications
A.Have a new website to launch.
B.Need to have better communication from coaches to Matt to update scores/game summaries.
C.SI Play is still benefiting our needs.
VI. Player development
A. Jim Bail is interested in doing the Nashua Cal Ripken Hitting Academy for 2018 season. Board was in favor of continuing as well and Gary will further coordinate date(s) and location.
VII. President’s News
A. Spring season went well. Had good coaches throughout all levels.
B. All-Star tournament brought a lot of work but, was good for showcasing Nashua Cal Ripken and earning extra money for the league.
C. Need to advise NH Commissioner what All-Star tournaments we would like to be considered for in the 2018 season.
D. Need to discuss All-Star issues sooner to be better prepared (Uniform orders, Cost, etc.).
E. Fall Ball is underway.
